Laporte signs a new deal with City until 2025
Manchester City center-back Aymeric Laporte has signed a two-year contract extension with the club, despite having only joined them last January.
Laporte joined City from Athletic for a fee of £57 million ($74m) just over a year ago, signing a deal until 2023. His new deal also includes a wage rise, now keeps him at the club until 2025. After signing the deal Laporte said
“I could not be happier to commit my long-term future to Manchester City.Since the day I arrived here, I have been made to feel welcome by Pep and all of the players.The club offers me everything I need to improve my game. I’ve already made great strides and I want to continue getting better and better.Obviously, I want to win silverware and I feel City is the best place to fulfil all of my ambitions.”
