West Ham 1-0 Arsenal: Gunners drop points once again

 

Arsenal are now without a win in last 5 premier league away games as West Ham won the game beating Gunners by the scoreline  of 1: 0  and west west ham climb to 8th position

Arsenal started the game stronger, with Alexandre Lacazette forcing a 13th-minute save out of Lukasz Fabianski with a low shot, after his driving run from Alex Iwobi’s pass had taken him beyond the penalty spot.but in the 48 the minutes Rice hammered home into the corner from the centre of the box.and gave west ham a deserved lead but The Gunners had the ball in the back of the net in stoppage time, but Koscielny’s header was ruled out for offside against Lucas Torreira, who crossed the ball, as West Ham held on for a first home win against the Gunners since 2006  Gunners get 41 points in 22 games and are ranked 5th, behind Chelsea/top 4. Besides, the highest paid player Ozil was left out by Emery of Arsenal squad despite being fully fit and training all week. Unai Emery, who is rumoured to have a fractious relationship with the Arsenal star, opted the name the same starting XI which beat Fulham in their last Premier League outing despite Ozil being available.The 30-year-old has not played since Boxing Day and has failed to establish a regular starting berth this season under new boss Emery.

Rice scored the first goal for West Ham  as The 19-year-old’s excellent effort capped a man-of-the-match performance against the Gunners, who had two goals chalked off for offside.,
